When it comes to my personal style, I am all about the WOW factor….and blending in has never been my forte. I crave the loud colors, bold prints, sharp lines, distinct silhouettes, and memorable looks. With that said, neutrals (black, white, and leopard excluded) have never been seen as wardrobe “game-changers” in my eyes. Cream, grey, and blush were a hop skip away from bored, boring, snooze button, blah, meh, and totally forgettable.
So imagine my own surprise when this head to toe neutral outfit took my breath away? Is it the way the maxi floats? Or perhaps its the structure of the blazer? Either way, it taught me a styling lesson in “not judging a neutral by its boredom”….Because alone these neutrals might be nothing special, but together a WOW factor is born.
Ps. Don’t forget to mark your calendars for this Thursday, April 11 from 6-8pm and come join me and meet Designer Rebecca Minkoff at Neiman Marcus Willow Bend! (Remember the adorable monogrammed pouch she gifted me?!)
