The Final Glimpse Into My Bachelorette Pad

Now that Kyle has “offically” taken me off the market, I have been spending a lot of time thinking about how much I am going to miss my super glam apartment once I move into his mid-century modern home.

Five years ago, I found this gorgeous, light-filled, 2 bedroom high-rise apartment and knew it was perfect for this single gal! I had plans to decorate it exactly how I wanted…with glamorous, over the top, and fashion filled decor! Living here for half of a decade has been perfect for me as I come and go from traveling & from Kyle’s home, but all good things must come to an end, so I wanted to share my top 5 favorite blog posts written about these four walls over the last 5 years!

THE BAR IS OPEN: I think it’s safe to say that my bar cart has gotten LOTS OF ACTION over the last 5 years! You’ll be shocked when you hear how much (or LITTLE!) I paid for it so long ago….it’s still one of my favorite pieces in my apartment and I am trying to figure out how to convince Kyle that we need a hot pink bar cart in his home! See the bar cart reveal HERE!

CUSTOM CLOSET REVEAL: Oh, the closet! What I can say is that this closet has gotten more action than most single men & women in Dallas! It’s seen so many trendy pieces rotate in and out, and it’s also been home to some serious staples that I just can’t get rid of! I worked with Elfa to help create a custom space that gave me room for everything! Because honestly, a guest bedroom or office would’ve been a complete waste of space! See the reveal HERE!

THE MOST TREASURED ITEMS IN MY HOME: While 90% of the items in my home are completely replaceable, there’s that 10% that are collectors items, vintage pieces, or family heirlooms that hold a dear place in my heart, or bring back a special memory. In THIS POST HERE, read about the most treasured items in my home, such as Mimi’s fur coat, Papa’s cufflink collection, and my assortment of designer vintage pieces that I have collected during my travels to Europe!

GETTING ORGANIZED WITH CONTAINER STORE & NEAT METHOD: After living in my apartment for a couple years, things got SO MESSY & UNORGANIZED…so I knew I needed to bring in the big guns! Thankfully, my friends at The Container Store & Neat Method came to the rescue and got my life in order! Not only did they share with me their best kept organizing secrets, but they also helped me make the most out of my limited space! Check out the (cringeworthy!) before & (stunning!) after pics HERE! (Ps. They just helped re-organize everything I moved to Kyle’s house, so stay tuned for that big reveal soon!)

VIRTUAL CLOSET TOUR: Here’s a video tour through the closet! I’m sharing some pieces that I can’t get rid of, some of my Charlotte Olympia shoes that I have collected, and telling some fun, fashionable stories!

Well, this has certainly been an emotional trip down memory lane! While I am so excited to close this chapter of my life, I will always be grateful for this incredible place I got to call home!

Do you mind sharing what part of town you lived in? Or if you’re willing, since you’re moving out, what community you lived in?

Love it! I vote when y’all find a vacation/second home (because I have a feeling y’all will) that you get to decorate it. Then you’ll have a spot for your hot pink bar cart and more! Congratulations again!
