If you follow me on Instagram, then you have undoubtedly seen the new addition to my life. After years of my mother pestering me about giving her grandchildren, I finally gave her the next best thing, Fancy, a four legged grand-dog.

Fancy was rescued by the Dallas Humane Society about 5 months ago when she was the subject of a dog fight.  And even though she has some battle scars and an attitude that bigger than my hair, she is full of love and has quickly adapted to her new fancy-free Uptown Dallas life.  She rocks a gold collar, eats gluten free, loves my ombre West Elm faux-fur throw, and hates tap water. And despite her uppity demeanor and occasional misbehavior, I can’t ever imagine my life BF (before Fancy)….its the purest form of unconditional love.

Fancy, I didn’t save you….you saved me.

Your dog is too cute and what a great rescue story! Can you tell us what size you order from ASOS compared to what you wear in the U.S.? I’d like to order some things but have no idea what size to get!

Those shoes are TO DIE FOR! I wish they still had them available in leopard print! I love the way you styled them for your coffee date.

I love your style, and always look forward to your new posts. Your fashion sense is outstanding! Though after reading this I admire you even more. It is so wonderful that you were able to give this dog a home, and a taste of the good life 😉 The suffering that these animals face at the hands of consciousless monsters is heart breaking. Having that love to come home to everyday can be life changing…for both of you. Congrats on your new pup, she is goregous, just like her Mama 🙂

I saw that you had adopted a pitty and I loved you even more! I had to go back to the original post to comment because I wasn’t a “commenter” until recently! So love that you adopted her and that you made her life wonderful like she deserves. And you are so right – they truly turn it around and save you in return. :-).
